Global Youth Summit

The countdown begins ! YMCA at the Global Youth Summit, 23-25 April - World YMCAThe Global Youth Summit (23–25 April 2021) brought together young people, leaders, policymakers, and changemakers to address the challenges created by COVID-19 and develop solutions for a better future. Organized by the ‘Big 6’, the Summit highlighted the power of youth in rebuilding communities and advocating for change.

The event celebrated the talents, creativity, and leadership of young people aged 14–30. What made this Summit unique was that it was led by young people, not just for them—ensuring that youth voices were at the center of discussions and decision-making. Participants described it as one of the most representative youth events they had ever attended.

Beyond the Summit, young people have continued to take action, working on innovative solutions to help their communities recover from the pandemic. With support and investment in their ideas, they are proving that youth leadership is key to shaping a more just and resilient world.
